Our Honorary Ambassador, WWII Veteran, Lt. Robert McClintock
99 year old, Lt. Robert McClintlock pictured here with our Founder, Tom Burkett, at the Armed Forces Museum with his A-36 fighter bomber that he flew over Italy for the 86th Fighter Group from 1943 to 1944. He flew 84 missions of which 33 were in the "Tail End Charlie" rear position, considered the greatest risk due to enemy anti-aircraft guns. Mr. McClintock was award The Presidential Distinguished Flying Cross medal and five air medals during his time with the 86th Fighter Bomber Group.
